Þessi bjór einn af þessum sem ég kalla "Klassiker klassiker", því hann er reglulegur gestur í mínum tækjum. Ég er búinn að vera að vinna með þessa uppskrift lítið breytta, fyrir utan aðlögun að nýjum tækjum, í næstum 5 ár og hefur alltaf reynst vel. Þessi bjór er mjög góður þegar hann er ferskur, og eldist líka ótrúlega vel af ekki sterkari bjór að vera. Og af því að búnaður manna er misjafn ætla ég að láta allar þrjár kynslóðir uppskriftarinnar fylgja.

Nafnið og útlitið kemur til af því að hann var fyrst bruggaður í Vesturbænum í vikunni eftir að KR urðu Íslandsmeistarar í fótbolta 2011, í 25. skipti og settu þ.a.l. fimmtu stjörnuna á búninginn. Og að sjálfsögðu, einsog aðrir verðlaunabjórar, ber hann bronsið sitt með stolti þarna á miðanum.
