8:45? - Stefán Pálson "beer historian" our guest speaker for the special topic of discussion, Christmas beers, commercial and home brewed. What is Christmas Beer? How did this trend start? Come find out direct from the person who knows!
If you have any of your own christmas beers ready, bring one or three down!
10:30pm: formal session close, welcome to stay as long as you like afterwards.

As this is the last meeting of 2014, we'll be signing membership cards for 2015 for 5000kr (The fee agreed at the last aðalfundur)

Remember, members get a 25% discount on drinks at the bar. Bring a friend, it's open for all.

Discussion Topics:
* Icelandic law, regulation on brewing, Górhátið, Fágun by-laws. Possible directions of the club in coming years, Marketing of the club in general.
* Steffán Pálsson gave a fun presentation on christmas beers, old to new.
* Tastings of barleywines, christmas beers, and discussions around those styles.
* Proposal to have an "extra" meeting around christmas / new years to meet any fagun.is chat members in Iceland for the holidays.

Next meeting tentatively scheduled for 12 January 2012.

Yeah, Mine's been sitting in the fermenter for.... I'd have to check now, but if I'd bottled it on time, it would be ready now. As is.... nope :/
