I told a couple of you that I got my beer fridge back online finally. I also finally got around to writing it up... http://false.ekta.is/2011/06/fridge-con ... -802-15-4/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hrafnkell's controller is probably a nice and easy, and cheap, way to do this yourself, if it includes the temp probe? and if it can directly control your fridge? (I had already started this when I saw his, and I'd never seen them that cheap, delivered to iceland)

Anyway, what his controller can't do, is be remote controlled, or report things to my home network. If anyone's particularly interested, I can bring this down to vínbarinn on monday night.

The controller I'm selling has a probe and can control 10A loads. Good solution if you're not good with a soldering iron and electronics :)

This looks good btw - did you not have to use a heatsink on the ssr?

fridge is only drawing 3amps running, and it's a 25A ssr, so I'm just running it naked.
